Mića Vujičić Biography

Mića Vujičić was born in 1979 in Mokrin, Serbia. He graduated in comparative literature and literary theory at the Faculty of Philology, Belgrade. Since 1998 he has worked as a freelance journalist. His newspaper articles, columns, interviews and literary chronicles have been published in daily and weekly newspapers such as Dnevnik, Danas, Blic, Politika, NIN and Feral Tribune. He is a culture reporter for the Serbian weekly Radar and author of four books, including novels Tackling Foul (2010), The Heartland (2018) and a collection of stories Freediving (2014). He was awarded the prestigious “Borislav Pekić” literary scholarship in 2006 and "Dušan Vasiljev" Prize (2019).
