Mića Vujičić was born in 1979 in Mokrin, Serbia.
He graduated in comparative literature and literary theory at the Faculty of
Philology, Belgrade. Since 1998 he has worked as a freelance journalist. His
newspaper articles, columns, interviews and literary chronicles have been
published in daily newspapers such as Dnevnik, Danas, Blic and Politika. He was
Feral Tribune's correspondent (Split). He is a culture reporter for the Serbian
weekly NIN and author of three books, including novels Tackling Foul (2010), The Heartland (2018) and a collection of stories Freediving (2014). He was awarded the
prestigious “Borislav Pekić” literary scholarship in 2006.
